Philly police ID 3 children killed in carjacking crash
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police have identified the three children killed by carjackers who crashed into their sidewalk fruit stand and then fled.
The children’s mother, 34-year-old Keisha Williams, remains critically injured.
A police spokeswoman on Saturday identified Williams’ slain children as 15-year-old Keiearra Williams, 10-year-old Thomas Reed and seven-year-old Terrence Moore.
Police say they died Friday after two men carjacked a real estate agent, then lost control of the vehicle and ploughed into the family.
Friends say Williams and her children regularly sold fruit as part of a church effort to raise money for a playground.
The 45-year-old carjack victim and a 65-year-old neighbour of Williams were also injured. Their names were not released, and their conditions weren’t immediately available.
