HIV positive man arrested for sexually assaulting minor

A 38-year-old man — who is said to be HIV positive — from Nannyville Gardens, Kingston 3, is now in police custody after being charged for raping the 16-year-old school friend of his daughter.

According to detectives from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, in May, the man is alleged to have assaulted the teen while she was at a sleepover at his house with his daughter.

The girl later reported that while she was sleeping, she felt someone sexually assaulting her. She woke up and saw her friend’s father on top of her, police said. He had bound her hands and feet.
