Taxi-man shot dead in Padmore
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The rural St Andrew community of Padmore was shattered this morning when loud explosions disturbed the normally quiet area.
At the end of the explosions, one man identified only as ‘Carlos’ lay dead in the roadway.
Carlos, who drove a route taxi from Chancery Street to Padmore, was attacked and shot twice in the face by a passenger. After he was shot, Carlos ran approximately four hundred metres before collapsing at the side of the road.
The scene is now being processed by crime scene investigators. More details later.
