Gregg aims big
With a win in the third and final Drivers Rallysport Club Rallysprint held last Sunday in Bog Walk, St Catherine, under his belt, Kyle Gregg is fully focused on capturing the Rally Jamaica crown in November to seal his most successful racing season ever.
“We are now in full prep mode for Rally Jamaica as we will not be in competition until then,” Gregg told Auto.
Gregg is hedging his bets on success at the last major rally event of the year, given the fact that the more powerful World Rally Cars are not currently scheduled to compete at this point. This should give fans another head-to-head battle between himself and Group N class rival Joel Jackson, who was absent from the sprint. Gregg is trying to win all the championship titles he’s currently involved with across the two main genres of motorsport — circuit racing and Rallysport.
Takers were few for the event. Gregg managed to best rookie Timothy Stewart driving the only other Group N vehicle, while Bobby Marshall completed the podium in third using his front-wheel drive prowess.
