HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Tuesday, January 31, 2017: This year you open up to many different options. You might not always feel sure of yourself to make the right decisions. You might be changing your perspective more and more this year. You often suppress your anger. If you are single, you might meet someone who is attached to someone else but doesn’t let you know. Be careful before making any commitments. If you are attached, the two of you develop a strong friendship that adds to the strength of your relationship. You often can be seen out and about together. ARIES is a great friend.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) : You might stop and be cautious before you make an important choice. Think about the others involved, and use your strong drive to push through an issue. You could surprise yourself, should you allow your impulsiveness to get out of control. Tonight: All smiles.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Expect a hectic pace. Events, calls and others matters could distract you, as they seem to appear one right after the other. You might find that you become easily irritated. You know that you have good reason to have a short fuse. Tonight: Know when to schedule a massage.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Others turn to you to take the lead in a touchy situation. Even if you do want to assume a leadership role, think twice. It might be much more demanding than you realise. Realise what this effort will take from you before jumping in. Tonight: Meet up with friends.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You might feel tired or a little under the weather. You might decide to take action and do something that surprises everyone around you. Make sure that this decision points to what you really want. Understand that time is your ally. Tonight: Could be up late!

LEO (July 23-Aug 22): Deal directly with a partner who might be evasive or emotional. Your feelings about a personal matter could be conflicted. Changes stare you in the face, but you might not know which way to turn. You must make a choice, even if you are uncomfortable. Tonight: Out late.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22): One-on-one relating allows more give-and-take. You are best off expressing your feelings. A partner might want to surprise you and make a major purchase. Try not to be critical or upset. Know that everything will work out just fine. Tonight: Go for a walk before or after dinner.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22): You might not appreciate a comment from a close associate, partner or loved one. Someone could act in a most unpredictable way, which is likely to cause a high level of tension. You will choose to say little. Find a stress-buster. Tonight: Accept a friend’s invitation.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21): You could be in a situation that causes you to dig into your resourcefulness. Answers emerge from out of the blue, but you might want to continue to brainstorm. You are more nervous than usual. Focus on something else, and you’ll mellow out. Tonight: At home.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21): You’ll need to think through a decision. You might want to look at this issue more closely after you have made a choice. You can wait a while to present your decision if you feel you will want some space. Tonight: A child or new friend is unpredictable. Strap on your seat belt.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19): Initiate a conversation without any reservation. You might feel as if you are out of sync with a family member. Understand what is happening. Refuse to act or speak impulsively. Understand where there can be a meeting of minds. Tonight: Do some deep thinking.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18): You need to be more direct with others. You might not be content with someone else’s reaction. Do not try to manipulate or coerce this person to think as you do; instead, let it go. Go off and focus on something else. Tonight: Visit with a friend at a favourite spot.

PISCES (Feb 19-March 20): You might feel as if you cannot make a mistake. The results you are seeking could change after you get them. Do some thinking, and reflect on what you desire most. Unexpected happenings and expenses are likely to affect your finances. Tonight: Ask more questions.
