MONTEGO BAY, St James — Seba FC moved five points clear at the top of the table in Zone Two of the St James Football Association Sandals International Senior League after thumping Lilliput Rovers 3-0 on Friday.

The three goals doubled Seba FC’s output from their previous three games and handed Lilliput Rovers their first loss of the season and kept them in second place on five points, well behind Seba FC’s 10 points.

At the UDC Field, Melbourne Mind Games scored their first goal of the season and their first win, edging MoBay City FC 1-0.

At Spot Valley, Seba FC led 2-0 at half-time, thanks to goals from Steven Forrester in the 15th minute and Luwayne Sharpe in the 29th, with Ricardo Malcolm putting the game out of the reach of Lilliput Rovers in the 69th minute.

Dwayne Harding scored in the 15th minute for Melbourne Mind Game as they moved two places up to third in the points tables on four points.

On Tuesday, Catherine Hall moved three points clear at the top of Zone One after a big 4-0 whipping of Marl Road FC at the UDC field.

Javern Palmer scored twice in the second half for Catherine Hall, who doubled their goals output for the season and improved to 10 points from four games, three more than second-placed Heights FC, who were held 1-1 by Club Stars at Spot Valley High and finished the game with just nine players.

Junior Morgan scored in the 41st minute for Catherine Hall and Kemario Murdock added a second in the 56th minute before Javern Palmer took his brace, scoring in the 60th and 89th minutes as his team completed a league-high third victory.

At Spot Valley, Heights went down to 10 men after just three minutes when Zanhue Woliston was sent off and were down 1-0 in the 20th when Terrick Dixon shot Club Star into the lead.

Things got from bad to worse for Heights FC in the 67th minute when Omar Hall was also sent off, but they managed to salvage a point when Wade Daley scored the equaliser in the 81st minute.
