Murder at Clarendon carwash on Christmas Day

CLARENDON, Jamaica — A carwash operator was shot dead by unknown assailants yesterday along Howard Avenue in May Pen, Clarendon.

Dead is 36-year-old Miruts Milton, otherwise called ‘Ghetto’, from Harris Street in the parish.

According to police reports, residents, after hearing explosions, summoned them shortly after midday.

Upon their arrival, Milton was reportedly found lying facedown in a pool of blood with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
