Usain Bolt makes big splash at Oktoberfest in Germany
Sprint Legend Usain Bolt has been getting his beer
drinking on at the popular Oktoberfest in Bavaria, Munich, Germany.
The Olympian posted a picture on his Instagram page with him and his friends showing off their German fashion sense. On Friday, Bolt was at the Schützen-Festzelt where he went on stage and did the famous ‘To the Worl’ pose. He also got the microphone and joined the packed house that was chanting his name. He then followed up by professing his love for Munich.
“I love you guys. Every time I’m here, every time I’m at Schützen you guys have always given me nothing but love,” he said, before singing Queen’s We Are The Champions with the help of the crowd.
Oktoberfest is the world largest Volksfest (beer and travelling
funfair). The festival is held in Munich, Germany, and requires attendees to
dress up in costumes and drink lots of beer.
Although it was born in Germany, Oktoberfest has spread its wings to other parts of Europe, the United States and even Jamaica, where it is held during Germany Week.
