RENTAL is latest song from Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall alum, Hydal. He feels it is the breakthrough single he had been yearning for.

“I am overwhelmed by the reception I’m getting for the Rental song, knowing that the hard work is paying off. I think the song appeals to everyone in the world because renting vehicles is a worldwide business, even I own a rental car company and experience the same things I sing about,” said Hydal.

Produced by Yaad Of Fame Music, Rental was released on August 14. An accompanying video, directed by Magical Studios Ja, is scheduled to be released this weekend.

The Spanish Town-based Hydal was first runner-up in the 2014 staging of the televised Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall.

“After Magnum, it was a good look and I got a huge fan base. But without the money and the right team to set things the correct way, it’s difficult for young artistes,” he said.

Hydal’s other songs include Board House, King Ting and Tourist. He is scheduled to perform at Good Vibes Only on Sunday at Kingston 10 Sports Bar and Grill this weekend.
