In pictures: Revellers celebrate Carnival in Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Thousands of revellers, many of them scantily dressed and covered in glitter, are on the streets of the Corporate Area enjoying Carnival in Jamaica festivities.
The main attraction, the annual Road March features three bands – Xodus and Bacchanal, Yard Mas and GenXs – each with their unique costumes and vibe.
Among the revellers are scores of foreigners, including international celebrities, who have poured into the country to soak in the fun.
Carnival in Jamaica is estimated to have an economic impact of up to $5 billion this year.
