Jahvillani calls out a Traitor
Dancehall artiste Jahvillani has released another bold track for the year titled Traitor. The new single, which addresses the topic of betrayal, is produced by Rivasyde Records and YGF Records and made its début on April 10.
The song is about friends that turn into enemies; a topic that many are all too familiar with.
“This song is really my story. I’ve been through a lot with people that I once trusted, who have turned out to be enemies in the long run. Those people, I don’t want them near me,” Jahvillani told the Jamaica Observer.
The accompanying music video was also released alongside the track and racked up some 200,000 views in the few days.
Both production houses are quite pleased with the overall feedback from the release and have future plans of working together.
“Jahvillani and I have been working for a while now and the chemistry is always good. This song is already climbing the charts, I expect things to get even better from here,” said Tevin Richards of YGF Records.
Jahvillani, who is known for hits such Sunday to Sunday, Million Dollar, Clarks Pon Foot, Pro-Gress, and Axio has plans on releasing more mega hits for his ever-growing fan base very soon.
“I am always in the studio cooking up something nice for my fans, so look out for more things to come from me,” the deejay said.
YGF Records also has their hands full with upcoming shows and new releases.
“We just did our first show in England with Pablo YG and we have lots of promotion in store for his upcoming album,” Richards added.
