Drip Rick Vi and Byron Messia winning with melody

United Kingdom (UK) based dancehall artiste Drip Rick Vi is steadily positioning himself as one of the genre’s next breakout stars. Powered by a string of well-received singles and collaborations with the likes of Byron Messia and Intence, his name is gaining traction both locally and internationally.

According to Drip Rick Vi, the success of his collaboration with Byron Messia, NBA 2 (Killy Dem), can be credited to the smooth, infectious melodies both artistes bring to the track.

“It’s easy to sing along to and the flow sick at the same time. The vibe was right from jump and it’s working. It’s exciting watching the song grow naturally. I feel like it’s gonna chart very soon,” said Drip Rick Vi.

Beyond that collaboration, the UK-based deejay continues to build momentum with other standout singles such as Rule Book and Ghetto Ute, the latter featuring Intence. He describes Rule Book, the second single from his latest EP, Vi, as one of his strongest releases to date.

“Rule Book is a classic in the making because it is not just a song, it is a life guide. I wrote that song from a deep mental and emotional space with the aim of motivating the youths because they are the future,” Drip Rick Vi said.

Drip Rick Vi is currently focused on promoting Vi which features 10 tracks.
