Grange expresses sadness following passing of sound system operator Supa Dee
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange says she is saddened by the sudden passing of Anthony Wilson, who was popularly known as Supa Dee, music producer, promoter, and operator of the famous Supa Dee sound system.
“Supa Dee will be remembered as a champion who took on all comers in sound clashes staged at the Harbour View roundabout in the 1990’s,” Grange said in a statement Monday evening.
Grange expressed condolences to Supa Dee’s daughter Melissa and sons Johnathan and Milton, and to his other relatives, friends and associates and to the music fraternity.
