Broken pipe disrupts water supply to sections of St Elizabeth
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says it has been forced to suspend operations at its Benlomonds facility in St Elizabeth as a result of a broken pipeline in the community of Williamsfield in the parish.
The NWC, in a release, advised that a team is being mobilised and it is expected that repairs to the broken pipeline will be completed by 6:00 pm today (February 9).
The affected areas include Benlomonds, Siloah, Thornton, Williamsfield, Windsor, Spring, Pang Town, Bagdale Mountain and surrounding areas.
