Unidentified body found in Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The body of a man was found on Cumberland Road in Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Friday morning.
The body, which up to publication time was still unidentified, was discovered at the entrance of a medical complex in the area, police said.
It was reported that around 4:45 am, residents stumbled upon the body at the front door of the office of Cumberland Medical and summoned the police.
On their arrival, lawmen saw the body lying on its back with both legs bound. Police said the body was about 5 feet 5 inches tall, medium built, dark brown complexion with a low-cut hairstyle.
It was clad in a blue T-shirt and black shorts. No visible wounds were seen on the body, the police said.
The scene was processed, and the body taken to the Spanish Town Hospital, where it was pronounced dead. It was later transported to the morgue, pending a post-mortem examination.
