Guns seized, men arrested

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police seized two guns and ammunition in two incidents today.

In Kingston, the Constant Spring police seized an M1 assault rifle along with eight rounds of ammunition on Plum Plane. Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure; however, they were not identified.

Likewise, the St Elizabeth police seized an AK-47 rifle with four rounds of ammunition in Roses Valley, Balaclava. Four men were taken into custody in relation to that seizure.
